Cambridge CADASIL Meeting 2026

The Cambridge CADASIL Meeting took place in person on Tuesday 3rd March 2026, at the Clifford Allbutt Building, Cambridge, UK.

Programme available here!

The Cambridge CADASIL Meeting returned on the 3rd March both in person and online!

In the morning Professor Markus shared an introduction to CADASIL. We were then joined online by invited speaker Associate Professor Helena Kalström, who spoke with us about her exciting research investigating possible immunisation therapies for CADASIL.

After lunch, we had some exciting talks from the Cambridge Team including updates from Dr Alessandra Granata and Natalia Owen on their CADASIL Support UK supported projects! Dr Granata shared updates on her CADASIL in a dish project, whilst Natalia showed us some preliminary results from her PhD project that aims to assess the role of blood biomarkers in CADASIL. Finally, we heard from Dr Megan Ritson who spoke to us about genome wide association studies and how they could help identify modifying genes in CADASIL.

After a quick coffee break, Caroline and James Morgan gave us a very inspiring talk on their experience with CADASIL. They shared their perspective, from diagnosis until now, and how they stay fit and maintain a positive outlook!
